Pamela Weiss, MD, MSCE, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine, an Attending and Clinical Research Director in the Division of Rheumatology at CHOP, and Co-director of Clinical Trials Pillar of Clinical Futures at CHOP.  She has a master's of science in clinical epidemiology from UPENN. Pam's research program is focused is on the epidemiology and clinical trials of children with juvenile arthritis and spondyloarthritis. She has over a decade of experience leading clinical research endeavors, including multicenter research and research involving international collaborations.

Dr. Parastoo Fazeli is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology and is the Director of the Lupus Clinic. In 2008, she completed Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at St. Agnes Hospital; one of The Johns Hopkins affiliated hospitals. She was honored with the award of the best intern of the year. She was a chief resident during her third year of residency. In 2009, she completed Lupus Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University. In 2011, she finished fellowship training in Rheumatology at the University of Virginia and served as a chief fellow during her second year of fellowship. She joined the division in August, 2011 and was elected as the director of lupus clinic. Dr. Fazeli has clinical and research interest in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), lupus in pregnancy and APS in pregnancy.

Dr. Grayson is a Tenure Track Investigator within the Intramural Program at the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases. He is the Principal Investigator for the NIAMS Vasculitis Translational Research Program and the Acting Program Director for the NIAMS Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program. His research interests include disease classification, vascular imaging, biomarker discovery/development, and clinical trials.

Dr. Peter Nigrovic is an adult and pediatric rheumatologist, Chief of the Division of Immunology at Boston Children's Hospital, and the Prince Turki bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. His laboratory studies basic mechanisms of inflammation, with a focus on autoimmune arthritis. He also leads the Center for Adults with Pediatric Rheumatic Illness (CAPRI) at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, a clinical program dedicated to the care of adults with childhood-onset rheumatic illness. Nationally, he co-founded the US/Canadian pediatric rheumatology mentoring group AMIGO, leads the NIH P30-funded Joint Biology Consortium arthritis research infrastructure, and is a deputy editor of Arthritis & Rheumatology.

Dr. Pooja Bhat's primary focus is inflammatory diseases of the eye. Dr. Bhat specializes in the diagnosis and management of infectious and non-infectious ocular inflammatory conditions, such as scleritis, anterior, intermediate, and posterior uveitis. Her main areas of interest are posterior uveitidies that includes Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) disease, Behcet's, sarcoidosis, infectious retinopathies, and white dot syndromes, such as birdshot chorioretinopathy.

Dr. Pooja Patel is an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Attending Physician at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Patel’s clinical and research interests include improving screening and long-term outcomes in children with systemic lupus erythematosus, particularly children with lung and kidney disease. 

Prashant Parmar is a board certified physician in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. He graduated with honors in biology from the University of Chicago and completed his medical school at the University of Oklahoma’s School for Community Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph’s / National Jewish Hospital in Denver, Colorado and trained in rheumatology at the University of Illinois – Chicago. 

He is a published author in the fields of Immunology, Rheumatology, and Aerospace Medicine and is currently working with NASA’s Exploration Medical Capability team to determine the risks of human spaceflight. He is also avidly interested in the Immune system and has performed stand-up routines both about the Immune system as well as Spaceflight.

In his spare time, he practices aikido, piano and guitar, plays strategy board games with his wife, and repeatedly lets his dog into and out from the backyard each time the dog changes his mind.

Dr. Lee is a pediatric rheumatologist at Boston Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. His research is focused on the mechanism of autoinflammatory diseases.
