Primary care physicians, including internal medicine and family medicine practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners

  • Assess the symptoms and signs of joint pain
  • Select the appropriate workup to diagnose osteoarthritis (OA)
  • Choose appropriate non-pharmacologic measures, pharmacologic treatment, and pain management
